Purchased to use in Wood! Why? The 1" bore.
Purchased to use in Wood! Why? The 1" bore.To explain, we have a 12" "Original Saw Company" Radial arm saw in the shop. The 12" blades we have tend to be deafeningly loud, the outer rim speed is so high.To combat this, we use 10" blades thus reducing the outer rim speed a good deal. This was easy to do with my old Delta R.A.S. that had the arbor more common in 10" blades ( 5/8" ) .Since upgrading to the "Original" with the 1" Arbor (proper for 12" blades) I have had a very hard time finding any non custom made 10" blades with 1" arbor,.. until this one.It makes very clean cross cuts in pine and hard woods. No tear out, super smooth. And it is Soooooo quiet in the big R.A.S. we can no longer hear it over the dust collection.

Worthless if used at 5200 RPM
I don’t have a low speed chop saw so I was excited to see that this metal cutting blade was rated for use up to 5200 RPM. It didn’t fly apart but it stopped cutting after maybe 20 cross cuts on 1/8 hot rolled angle iron. Definitely not a solution for cutting steel with a regular saw.

Don't expect to get a lot of cuts
I was able to cut 12 feet of 3/16 inch hot rolled steel with this blade before it was shot. I used my table saw with a small pulley on the motor. The saw is a cast iron 1 1/2 HP. I would be very afraid to use it on a 5+ HP saw. When the blade starts getting dull it will tend to jam in the cut. While it is sharp, the cuts are great and smooth. Only the last foot was troublesome. Not only did it tend to jam and force the fence to move, the metal was getting hot from being abraded rather than cut. I figure the saw will cut (3/16" X 11' X 12") = 24.75 square inches of steel. If your cutting 1 inch thick steel you should be able to cut 2 foot. I am not at all surprised that is the limit of the blade.I have a metal cutting band saw, but I can't cut large 2 foot wide steel with it. I think this is the only choice for making smooth cuts on large pieces of steel.

Cuts steel fairly easily
I bought this blade to use in my Harbor Freight 14" chop saw. One feature of this blade was its rated rpm were higher than the Harbor Freight saw spins at. The 10" blade limits the amount of material the saw can cut since it's expecting to have a 14" diameter blade, but for straight cuts it's no problem. for 45° angle cuts it's more limited.I have made about 40 cuts through 1x1x1/8 and 1¼ x 1¼ x ⅛ box section, some cuts through 2 x 2 x 3/16 angle and 4 x ¼ flat steel, and the blade is still cutting pretty well - and a definite time saver over using a hand hacksaw!!

Great Blade for the Rage
We had purchased one of the Rage Saws, which are absolutely terrific in every way. However the replacement blades are expensive from Rage, and not easy to purchase locally. This Oshlun 10" Blade was deliberately designed to be compatible with the Rage Saws. Having a 1" Bore and Carbide Teeth, ground to provide a standard "triple chip type of cut", it is a perfect replacement for the Rage Steel Cutting Blade. The blade cuts as well as any other quality brand blade, and at a far less cost. You won't be disappointed.

So far so good.
I use this in a Rage 3 saw by Evolution. Works very well. Cuts very similar to other TCT (dry cut cold saw) I have. I can't speak to longevity as I have only made a hand full of cuts so far, but overall it works exactly as expected. I think you'd be foolish to try to put this blade in a 5k rpm wood saw and think you're going to get nice cuts in steel. These blades are intended for steel saws that have blade RPMs in the 2k range. When you have this in the correct saw it will cut mild steel like butter.

This blade cuts great. My first attempt was on my craftsman miter saw with 5000 rpm , although the blade is rated to 5200 rpm I found the 5000 rpm to be to fast, The saw spit out chunks of hot metal as the chunks reflected off the back splash of the saw onto my hands.. I then tried the blade on a different saw with 4600 rpm that has a smaller back plash , this was much better . There is almost as much dusty mess with the metal blade ( maybe due to the higher rpm's ) as there is with the conventional chop saw blade . However , at the price I have zero complaints,, this blade will cut well past several chop saw blades saving money and is priced much less than cold cut saws and blades. As my needs increase to cut more often I will then purchase a true dedicated low rpm metal cutting saw . ( Dewalt looking very good ) .but for now this blade works fine in my miter saw .. : )

you get what you pay for.
I thought this product was going to be reasonable for the price, but i guess you get what you pay for. The first cut was ok, but the very next cut(the 2nd. cut on new blade) i had 5 teeth snap off. keep in mind i believe the blade is rated for 5200 rpm and i had it ona max 4900 rpm saw.

Disco bastante bueno
Buen corte sin rebaba, muy limpio, baja temperatura al cortar, recomiendo apretar bien el disco para no dañar los dientes y encerar el disco para una mayor vida útil.

Worth the dough!
The blade worked as advertised. I cut 1/4 checker plate with it on my table saw. Shipment from Amazon was quick. As you can imagine wear a descent set of eye and arm protection but as far a noise it was quite manageable

Be careful re dulling the blade
The saw blade is pretty darn good but the blade became dull fairly quickly. It may be however because of how I used the blade. As you can see from the photo, I used it to cut through lots of 4" sched 40 steel pipe. As per what I saw on youtube, the best way to preserve the blade life is by not cutting over large surface areas but rather thin metal lines as much as possible. When cutting through 4" steel pipe however there is no easy way to avoid the large surface area, at least until you've gotten through the wall. It cuts through angle iron almost like butter however; even still!

Works fine with the Evolution saw
Works better than the original blade that came with the Evolution saw. Few things to note.1. You can't use this blade with any mitre saw, they spin too fast. You have to understand surface feet minute for the metal cutting. Use only mitre saw design for cutting metal, like the Evolution.2. You can't force the saw hard against the material to speed up the cut, need to do it slow and let the blade do the work.Ignoring these facts, the blade will go dull in a few cuts.
