I’m not sure how or if this is actually 5% as that normally requires a prescription. I can tell the difference between a prescription strength and the maximum strength OTC which is 4% but I didn’t get very good relief with this so I’m doubtful. Honestly I didn’t think I got even close to the kind of relief that I normally get with a true spray or cream 4% lidocaine. This is just not very good to even use. It doesn’t “spray” it has a stream of runny liquid come out and so it doesn’t coat your skin like an aerosol and it’s so runny that it’s not like a cream or lotion that you can rub in. I use lidocaine sprays and patches regularly- sometimes multiple times a day and was just hoping this might be stronger because it claims to be 5% and maybe a little cheaper. But it’s not worth it at all.

It definitely took the pain away it was worth the money..

Lidocaine is great for my use. BUT, I had a difficult time being able to spray it in the leg area where it needs to be layed sideways. On the back or shoulder the spray is directly sprayed on top, but the inside crook of the leg to the crotch is not able to work properly..

I like the non-aerisol spray, I don't have to rub a painful area! I like the easy-to-open cap. It's one piece, you simply turn it, so easy.

I've tried many different lidocaine products and this is the 1st one I've used that did literally nothing. It's very hard to spray and hit what you're aiming for. It's basically water consistency, it just runs right off. But even if I use fingers etc to apply, there's zero numbing effect, even to my fingers! What an absolute waste of money. Doesn't work to begin with and certainly doesn't last long.
