I recently decided that I needed to change the grips on a few of my clubs, and did some research into proper how-to techniques - many of which recommended a hook blade for the removal of old grips, rather than using a box cutter or utility knife. So I found this kit on Amazon that included a hook blade, grip tape strips (pre-cut), solvent, and a rubber clamp for a vise grip. The hook blade worked perfectly, the grip tape was already cut to the proper dimensions, the solvent did exactly what it needed to, and the rubber grip kept things steady while I worked.I highly recommend this kit if you're looking to change your own grips - this kit plus a YouTube tutorial or two will have your clubs in tip-top shape, even if you're a beginner like me!

I’ve seen a lot of internet drivel saying “don’t buy the kit” but I disagree. I bought this kit because it had the cutting tool as well as the shaft block for securing the shaft in a vice. You can buy everything separately but it will cost more. For the average golf hobbyist, this kit is great and will work for a set of clubs.

Good value. Tape strips are easy to use because of the split backing. Solvent also easy to use with the small tip to reduce waste. Rubber shaft holder for use in a vice helps make installation of grips easy for a professional look. Not impressed with the hook blade knife. Is cheap and felt like it good break the plastic handle if used aggressively. But considering the price, it’s a good value for the occasional grip change.

This is an excellent kit with everything you need to regrip your club. I put new grips on two drivers over a year ago and it's holding up great. It was my first time regripping a club, for any other first timer WATCH A TUTORIAL ON YOUTUBE FIRST, then watch it again, then watch it step by step while you're doing it. Emphasis on making sure you thoroughly remove the old tape and use plenty of solvent in the new tape before trying to put the grip on. Personally I felt it was a great kit, well worth the money.

Worked great! First time re-gripping my own clubs and I knocked out two quickly and easily with this kit. Only other thing I had to pick up was a heat gun, which was relatively cheap. Highly recommend!

Excellent products. I've done 10 regripsbout of the 13 and still have at least 3/4 of the fluid left. Just make sure you put a tim container under your work and reuse it. Grips slide on so easy too with the included tape and this liquid. I had my own hook knife and did not order the one available. Great deal.
