Good starter kit for your first set in your kitchen
This is a good looking starter knife and utensil set, with a handy selection of knives and utensils that you will need when preparing and cooking your food.Inside the box you get the Knife/Utensil holder in a ridged wall style, which has a removeable top for easier cleaning, plus slots for the knives to slide into and a larger open side for the utensils. You also get 3 knives, plus a pair of scissors, and 3 utensils plus a pair of cooking/serving tongs. Finally you get a vegetable peeler. The utensils and knives are all in a neutral creamy colour with wooden handles, and the holder is in the same colour scheme. The knives supplied are a cleaver, a Santoku knife and a smaller utility knife. I did feel that the blades were not very sharp out of the box but a quick run through a sharpener sorted that out. The blades also have a diamond/star shaped design which looks quite smart. The utensils supplied are a ladle, a spatula/turner, a spaghetti server spoon, cooking/serving tongs and a ceramic peeler. In use these work well. The knives are balanced well, and cut fine (they cut better once I had sharpened them more). The knives slide into the grooves on the top of the holder so are easily at hand when you are cooking and switching between the utensils and the knives.Overall, a great starter kit for your kitchen at a great price.

Decent, reasonably priced set of knives.
This utensil set is great, and has pretty much everything you'd need if you don't already have this stuff or want an affordable replacement this is a good option. The wooden-feel handles are nice to use and are comfortable. The ceramic coating on the knives is a nice grey and matches the rest of the set, and the silicone on the rest of the utensils is reliable, dishwasher safe, and unlike a lot of full utensil sets, the silicone utensils are actually a decent size. The knives are pretty much good for everything, there's a smaller knife, a general use chef's knife which I imagine you'd be using most of the time, and a larger nakiri/cleaver style knife. They aren't the sharpest knives in the world for sure, but they're good out the box and actually sharpen well too.Obviously not the most premium utensil set, but for the price they're reliable, complete, and look great for what it's worth.

Very good value.
I bought a kitchen knife about 12 months ago and it cost twice as much as this Maxspace set. I’m beginning to regret it. The knives and cleaver in this set have thin blades and are very sharp-very, very sharp. I like that there’s no protruding heel, I find they make rocking the knife ineffective. I’m a little concerned that Maxspace aren’t more forthcoming with what they use to make the non-stick coating.“….a premium-quality non-stick coating, this coating has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance…”I don’t have a problem with the knives being non-stick, but certain coatings still contain PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) PFOS (perfluorooctane sulphonic acid) which are both carcinogenic. I would like to know that these knife coatings are PFOA and PFOS free as it’s no longer legal to use these chemicals in the UK.The accompanying tools are far better quality that I would have expected at this price. I’m not a fan of the spatula (that Maxspace cutely call a fried shovel), I prefer the flat slotted blade variety. However, like the rest of the accessories it’s well made and quite stiff-a far better option than the floppy versions that are available. A lot of spatulas tend to get misshapen and even bubbly on the tips as they have closer contact with higher heat than other tools. I left this one balanced on its tip in my frying pan whilst cooking breakfast. There wasn’t any deformation at all.At £32.99 it looks far more expensive than it is. The storage block is beautifully designed and made specifically for this knife set. I love that the scissors have been allotted their own slot. In fact I love this whole knife set..

Great quality
I recently purchased the Kitchen Cooking Utensils Set in khaki, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! The 10-piece collection includes both non-stick stainless steel knives and silicone spatulas, which are perfect for my cooking needs. The utensils feel sturdy and durable, making food prep a lot easier. I love the sleek holder that keeps everything organized and within reach, adding a nice touch to my kitchen decor. Overall, this set is not only functional but also stylish—highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchenware!

I like the look of this. Veggie peeler is a bit average - but everything is ok.
I like the look of this. Veggie peeler is a bit average - but everything is ok.I selected this as we often hire motorhomes and I hate having a drawer full of utensils clacking away as we’re driving around the country. I wanted a compact holder of all the kitchen tools & this certainly fits the bill.I tested the knives on tomatoes - which is my standard test and found them to be ok, not the sharpest high-end blades, but decent. I’ll probably give them a bit of a sharpening to get them to a level I like. The style is really quite nice - compact, clean lines and looks nice against my lighter countertops. I wasn’t sure if I would like this in my kitchen - was expecting to dislike seeing all the pot ladles sticking out, but it actually all looks very compact and neat IMO. 5 stars.
