This litter does what it says! I have 3 cats sharing the boxes and the odor is minimal when someone just used it; then dissipates quickly! The tracking is minimal, yay. Highly recommend.

This litter WAS awesome when I started using it about a year ago. I don’t know what happened.The GOOD:I love that it’s lightweight.Comes in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. Easy to carry, easy to pour. Haven’t had a problem with it arriving with an open bag.I like that it’s not a yet another plastic jug.I re-use the bag as a trash bag when doing yard cleanup or will sometimes wash it out and use it to put items out in storage in my resin-type shed.It’s unscented, although there is an ever so slight…I don’t even want to call it a fragrance but it’s not offensive at all. (and I’m pretty sensitive).The ONLY time I smell anything in the litter box is RIGHT AFTER one of my cats poops. Only lasts 20 mins or so. Never had an issue with it smelling after they pee. And even if I’m away a day or two, they are no issues with odor when I return. You cannot tell I have two cats like you can sometimes when entering a home with a litter box.It’s easy to scoop, just make sure you’re topping it off to keep the level up. )It really only sticks to the bottom/sides of you’re running low.)All that said, what the heck happened to this??The BAD: (!!!)It TRACKS EVERYWHERE. I have a large litter mat, and an extra one in their walking path when they exit the box. There is STILL litter tracked everywhere.Their box is the bathroom (unless I’m gone for an extended time and have someone checking in on them- then I put it out in the kitchen).So they track it through the bathroom, through my bedroom and to to the kitchen. (There is even litter on my bed, I have keep to a sheet over the top.)I have even put down towels for them to walk on and it STILL GETS EVERYWHERE.Also, it’s dustier than it used to be. I have to cover my mouth/nose when I do their box or I start coughing. (I guess those leftover face masks come in come in handy again all). The dust also tends to settle on surfaces; it never used to.Needless to say, I’m on the hunt for another brand. I may have to go back to the regular clumping. I used to use the Fresh Step unscented that comes in the 4pk of bags, but the price kept going way up on it. My daughter used the Tidy Cat lightweight, so I figured I’d try it out. Loved it when I first starting using it. Have tried others - like the Cat’s Pride (terrible), so will have to keep looking.Good luck!I try to be moreIt gotten dustier than it was and also- it TRACKS EVERYWHERE!!! Great cat litter. Keeps the litter box from smelling and clumps fairly quickly and is easy to clean up. No issues with cat using it and is easy to sweep up if any gets on floor. Would buy again.

I love the light weight little - so much easier to haul and dispose of. This stuff clumps very well. My cats box is in a pretty small area and no smells - so this stuff is working well.

One of the product photos show two different product packaging options for the 17 lb. size--one in the large box and the other in the standard container with a handle. Under the product description, second bulleted item reads, "......With a clean easy pour." Both video captions indicate containers with the usual molded plastic container with a handle.We rec'd. a large Tidy Cats box with perforated handles that said, "LOOK! HANDLE!" on either end of the box. After " punching out" one perforated "handle," the scent hit us. After peering inside, it was obvious that the large box contained the litter inside a humongous plastic bag.The box top needed to be opened and the bag partially opened as well. At that point, decisions need to be made: leave bag open, tape box shut, use handle as a pour spout, and hope there won't be spillage; pour from a heavy, unwieldy bag; or scoop from the bag inside the box. We opted for the latter.Although the box is closed, the litter scent is obvious, and so it's in a utility room. (We usually get unscented litter, but that wasn't an option; we're not deducting stars for that -- just the other unexpected issues.P. S. Amazon: Amazon packaging was requested but not done, and both relatively heavy parcels were delivered so near to front door as to block it.
